Cancellation Policy
As soon as you have a made a booking with me, it is possible I may decline further bookings to ensure I don't over-commit. Last minute bookings and changes can be discussed, as I understand our current environment can be quite disruptive. If you wish to cancel your booking, you can do so for free unless I have already left to visit your cat. If the booking is cancelled while I am at the visit, you will still be charged for that visit.
* Please note that over the Christmas and New Year period there is a 7 day cancellation period. If you cancel your Christmas or New Year booking less than 7 days before your booking starts, a 50% cancellation fee applies.
WHAT DOES YOUR VISIT NORMALLY ENTAIL?
On my first visit my goal is to attempt to introduce myself to your cat. This may take more than one visit, but once they are familiar with my smell and being in their home, I will then attempt to make friends with them. Cats will feel threatened by someone other than their family picking them up, so this is something I will not do. I will allow them to climb over me, smooch my face, or whatever they feel comfortable doing.
As well as the normal tasks of cleaning and replenishing the bowls, I will spend time with your cat by talking, petting, playing, or just being present with them. I do not have a set length of time I will spend there, as each cat with require a different amount of interaction. Once I am satisfied your fur baby is happy, I will leave.
*Your fur babies call the shots and set the pace. I will be in their home and I want them to feel like they are in control.
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RARE OR EXOTIC CATS?
I have experience with a wide range of breeds and can easily adapt my approach to what you would prefer.
IF MY PET NEEDS TO GO TO THE VET, WILL YOU TAKE THEM?
Yes, as long as you have given your ok to do so. I will endeavour to take your cat to their vet if you provide their details. If the matter is urgent I will take them to the after hours vet clinic. I will, of course, seek permission from you first if possible but your cats wellbeing will come first. All vet fees will need to be reimbursed.
DO YOU LOOK AFTER OTHER PETS?
Yes, I can also look after rabbits, guinea pigs, frogs, fish, reptiles etc. I do not currently look after dogs as they require more specialist care that I am not confident I can currently provide.
DO OFFER OTHER ASSISTANCE AND ADVICE?
I have a genuine interest in yours and your fur babies happiness.
If something is not quite right, I can offer advice. I am not able to offer medical advice, only behavioural.

I do not undertake any special cares on your cat that would normally be best completed by a professional or a trusted family member.
